Frequency-domain stability methods for reset control systems

Reset controllers have the potential to enhance performance of high-precision industrial motion systems. However, similar other non-linear controllers, stability analysis for these is complex and often requires parametric model system, which may hinder their applicability. In this paper a frequency-domain approach assessing properties control systems with first second order reset elements developed. The proposed also able determine uniformly bounded-input bounded-state (UBIBS) property in case resetting non-zero values. An illustrative example demonstrate effectiveness using frequency response measurements assess presented.
